Bethel Church is a United Church of Christ Congregation with its roots in the Evangelical and Reformed Lutheran Church.  We will celebrate our 90^th Anniversary of service to Christ in July of 2008.  The original members were of German descent and the church services were conducted in German above a local grocery at Washington and Shepard. 

Bethel Church today is a growing and vibrant church – a Christian fellowship where children, youth and adults of all races, orientations, and backgrounds are welcome.  Bethel Church works within the growing community and participates in community missions, events, and activities that reach out to people of various backgrounds.  The laity of Bethel Church participates in worship celebrations combining both traditional and contemporary elements.

Bethel Church is a traditional belief congregation that is an Open and Affirming Church.  We welcome and accept those of diverse ecumenical orientation – no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey you are welcome here at Bethel Church.
